Import Sales & Trading Account Executive

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains an excellent working relationship with customers, suppliers and vendors.
• Contacts potential customers to establish rapport.
• Meets with potential customers.
• Conducts product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
• Develops quotes and proposals for customers.
• Updates and maintaining records of all orders.
• Provides monthly analysis of sales results.
• Coordinates and participates in trade shows to promote sales.
• Negotiates with and influences key decision makers.
• Performs monthly inventory reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge and sales experience in the perishable food categories.
• Sales background mandatory, strong negotiation skills and business/trade acumen.
• Ability to develop good relationships with current and potential customers.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office; Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, CRM systems a plus.
• Extensive travel up to 20% and the willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
