Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage all financial transactions.
  • Ensure accurate cost estimations and revenue recognition in compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, variance analysis, and rolling projections for executive review.
  • Develop and update Excel-based financial schedules and managerial reports
  • Prepare and review journal entries, offset entries, quarterly accruals, and accrual reversals.
  • Conduct monthly general ledger and expense account reviews, ensuring proper classifications.
  • Assist with monthly financial closing, audits, and compliance reporting
  • Communicate financial updates and findings clearly to key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • 5-8 years of experience in general and cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or construction project environment.
  • Fluency in Japanese is required to support communication with global teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
  • Proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and reporting.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
