Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to support company growth
- Identify and evaluate investment, acquisition, and partnership opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, investors, utilities, and financial institutions
- Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and risk analysis for investment decisions
- Lead commercial negotiations, due diligence, and transaction execution
- Collaborate with internal teams including Finance, Legal, Tax, Development, and Operations
- Prepare investment recommendations and present findings to senior leadership
- Represent the company at industry events and strengthen business networks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in business development, M&A, project finance, investment management, or a related field within the energy industry
- Strong knowledge of U.S. power markets and energy industry trends
- Experience evaluating and executing investment, acquisition, or partnership opportunities
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of project finance, tax equity, and power purchase agreements (PPAs)
- MBA or advanced degree
