Responsibilities
- Assist manufacturing/production to include prototype and pilot builds and testing.
- Interface and assist customers in qualifying new products.
- Facilitate the service/repair of RF products and Assist Customer Support Engineers in resolving customer site technical issues.
- Provide regular project status updates to the manager and drive timely completion of tasks.
- Occasional domestic and international travel to customer sites.
- Diagnose, test, or analyze the performance of electrical components, assemblies, or systems.
- Compile and maintain records documenting engineering schematics, installed equipment, installation or operational problems, resources used, repairs, or corrective action performed.
- Set up and operate standard or specialized testing equipment and manage its calibration.
- Participate in training or continuing education activities to stay abreast of engineering or industry advances.
- Install or maintain electrical control systems, industrial automation systems, or electrical equipment, including control circuits, variable speed drives, or programmable logic controllers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to Read Electrical Schematics
- Education, work, or service experience related to semiconductor manufacturing equipment or plasma technology
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to write professional reports such as experimental reports, service bulletins, and meeting note.
- Able to report to the Japan headquarters using translation software when urgent
- Ability to facilitate resolution of issues and problems.
- Ability to apply engineering knowledge and to focus on and analyze detailed, technical data and information for extended periods.
- Ability to interface effectively with teams with competing demands and facilitate appropriate resolutions to meet operating needs.
