Operation Manager - Elk Grove Village, IL

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse, logistics, and fleet operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
• Manage inventory processes including receiving, storage, shipping, and cycle counts.
• Supervise fleet operations, maintenance, and cost optimization.
• Implement and monitor safety programs and regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, train, and manage staff, fostering teamwork and performance.
• Set performance goals, monitor results, and provide feedback and coaching.
• Handle additional tasks and projects assigned by management

Qualifications

• Spanish and English bilingual level language skill preferred.
• High School Diploma required, bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics or related field preferred
• 7+ years of warehouse and logistic experience(including 5+years of management role).
• Knowledgeable in Japanese foods and beverage is a plus.
• Forklift certificate required.
• Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, CSA
