Japanese Bilingual Sr. Accounting Manager - Irving, TX

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff to drive performance and professional growth of the accounting team.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end and year-end close, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support business decision-making.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls across all accounting activities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the parent company, auditors, and tax advisors.
• Manage payroll accounting, cash flow planning, and liquidity.
• Improve accounting processes, systems, and workflows to enhance efficiency, automation, and reporting accuracy.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax filings and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Bilingual in Japanese and English
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and financial management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
