Technical Operations Specialist - Novi, MI

Responsibilities

• Support communication between customers, suppliers, and the Japan headquarters to help prevent and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Assist customers with processing conditions and technical requirements for decorative film products.
• Provide technical support and guidance on processes, equipment, and tools.
• Visit customer manufacturing sites to support the investigation and resolution of technical issues.
• Support Sales with customer meetings and design studio visits.
• Research industry trends and identify opportunities to support business development.
• Support marketing and promotion of automotive-related products.
• Build relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.
• Perform other assigned technical and operational tasks.
• Develop marketing strategies by understanding industry trends and networking with stakeholders.
• Visit manufacturing sites to investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Support Sales staff in customer design studio visits.
• Promote other products to the automotive industry.
• Perform other assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; recent graduates are welcome to apply.
• Internship, co-op, or academic experience in engineering, manufacturing, automotive, chemicals, or a related field is a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Japanese language skills are a plus.
