Distribution Planner I - Solana Beach, CA

Responsibilities

• Manage outbound shipments and deliveries from factory to customers through 3PL warehouses.
• Track shipment status, address delays, and handle claims for lost or damaged goods.
• Maintain allocation data and coordinate with teams on material availability and urgent orders.
• Process excess stock and carrier plate orders, ensuring timely delivery and documentation.
• Prepare forecasts, quotations, and pricing files for accounting and suppliers.
• Maintain shipment and invoice records, support reporting, and assist the Distribution/Delivery Control team as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience required.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in SAP (Sales & Distribution), Microsoft Excel, Word, and order entry systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional customer service approach.
• Knowledge of logistics, procurement, inventory management, and import processes is a plus.
