Responsibilities
- Trains and develops Account Specialists and Merchandisers to ensure procedures are properly followed.
- Explains and/or demonstrates standards and requirements of job functions.
- • Directs, coaches, and corrects employees through regular communication. Reports performance
- concerns as well as progress and achievements upward to Department Manager in a timely manner.
- • Monitors store conditions (shelf, display, chill box, back stock, etc.), and customer feedback to ensure
- accounts are properly maintained, and programs are being carried out and new items are getting into the
- accounts as expected. (This may be done on random basis, or on a specific need basis.)
- • Performs regular retail price surveys as directed.
- • Provides route coverage as needed
- • Prepares and issues merchandiser work schedules.
- • Submits weekly agenda and daily reports to GM as required

Qualifications
- Checks store ad activity for competitors as needed.
- • Reviews staff vacation, time off and scheduling requests, tentatively approves or denies and forwards to
- upper management for final decision.
- • Performs other duties as assigned.
