Mechanical / Civil Engineer - Facility Manager - Davis, CA

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, inspect & direct facility maintenance and repairs as needed for all aspects of the building structure, support equipment, and surrounding property.
• Provide project management, develop schedules, and coordinate design and scope for various projects, alterations, and additions to the existing buildings and surrounding property
• Communicate and work effectively across multiple teams and departments to provide value engineering/consultation services and to achieve project completion
• Daily maintenance, including hands-on tasks
• Direct, consult, research, order & procure materials as needed for various projects and facilities needs

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• Mechanical background such as electrical, plumping, PLC, overhead Crain, is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in all aspects of facilities maintenance
• Direct experience with OSHA, environmental compliance and all applicable local and federal regulations
• Proficient with electrical wiring, troubleshooting and schematics
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, TEAMS)
• Proficient with AutoCAD or equivalent
• Japanese skill is a big plus but not required
