Accounting Staff - Irving, TX

Responsibilities

• Work on the monthly financial closing process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, preparing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation if needed.
• Check incoming and outgoing cash properly on a daily basis and perform monthly bank reconciliation activity through verification of accounts regarding cash at hand and cash at bank.
• Work on the compilation of information for preparation of various tax return include but not limited to Corporate tax, Sales tax and Form-1099.
• Monitor day-to-day revenue accounting function including month-end close; reconciliation of revenue related accounts including AR/unbilled, revenue allocations, credit memo reconciliations, preparing monthly revenue analysis of revenue deferrals, bad debt, and revenue serve.
• Prepare AP voucher and recording expense.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 1+ years of Accounting experience preferred
• Accounting experience in consumer packaged goods preferred
• Intermediate to advance excel skills (knowledge of VLOOK-UP, PIVOT, SUMIF, IFERROR, DSUM)
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 highly preferred; ERP implementation experience a plus
