Accounting Manager - Ramsey, NJ

Responsibilities

• Manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
• Lead quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
• Review current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Oversee or/and manage general ledger accounting functions
• Train staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
• Lead Year-End Audits, Transfer Pricing Study documentation
• Lead JSOX audit

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting,
• 5+ Years related work experience,
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• Knowledge of SAP and Access highly preferred
• Self-starter with ability to investigate and solve problems independently.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
