Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Present financial reports to stakeholders and board members
- Monitor cash flow
- Establish budgetary goals and monitor performance
- Oversee audit processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Establish and Maintain internal controls with accuracy
- Prepare financial forecasts and strategic decision making
- Manage and develop budgeting process
- Provide guidance and leadership to accounting staffs including managerial tasks
Qualifications
- Business level proficiency in Japanese language
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 10+ years a supervisory/managerial accounting role
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Advanced experience with Excel
- Experience with ERP systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership skill
- CPA preferred
