Vice President of Construction Management - New York, NY

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all areas of project management including budget, quality control, risk management planning & design review, construction management for low & high rise apartment projects in the NY region
• Propose engineering actions and repairs
• Responsible for communication regarding maintenance and repair
• Attend meetings to address resident concerns
• Manage the new investment business by LP investor evaluate construction cost, schedule and major construction risks
• Manage projects by reviewing schedules and tasks
• Oversee the development of the firms delivery of building construction review
• Research and analyze data regarding development projects to assess feasibility, viability and project outcome
• Identify inefficiencies and measures to development projects
• Manage documentation such as records, agendas and deliverables
• Correspond to external and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• BA degree or higher in civil engineering, urban planning, construction management or architecture required
• 10+ years in building construction project management
• Experience with construction administration, construction management, urban planning and design/engineering
• 10+ years of managerial adversarial construction project management
• Advanced proficiency with applications such as Procore, BIM 360
• Advanced proficiency in excel – data analysis, Dynamic Array functions
• Ability to travel to NYC construction sites
• Strong analytical and problem solving skill
• Ability to work as a collaborative team player with both internal and external project members
• Excellent time management ability with proven ability to meet deadlines
