Responsibilities
- Job Duty:
- • Independently compiles pertinent data to produce reports for the CEO and Board of Directors (“BOD”) to make informed business decisions.
- • Leads company's subsidiaries and cost accounting function and provides regular business reports to the CEO.
- • Develops and maintain the financial cost reports necessary to fully explain standard and gross margin analyses and the variances to planned results.
- • Builds databases by translating data into meaningful statistics to provide qualitative analysis and actions to improve processes.
- • Forecasts cost-related changes and risks and recommends cost effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Qualifications:
- • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related discipline preferred.
- • 6 to 10 years of direct experience in industry cost accounting sector (import/export and logistics, food manufacturing or retail industry).
- • 3+ years in a position equivalent to Cost Accounting or higher.
- • Bilingual English and Spanish (spoken and written) preferred.
