Tax Manager - Houston, TX

Responsibilities

• Work closely with joint venture partners regarding tax and accounting for new projects.
• Responsible for tax planning for new transactions.
• Coordinate tax treatments with joint venture partners.
• Manage tax models.
• Evaluate tax and risk of new domestic and international projects.
• Coordinate with account personnel and external accountants.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining the cash flow model for projects.
• Present material to Joint venture partners related to tax and accounting.
• Coordinate with colleagues in Japan regarding accounting/ tax procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Tax.
• Must have Japanese bilingual language skills.
• CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of US federal tax experience and knowledge.
• 3+ years of tax planning experience.
• 3+ years of cash flow and tax modeling required.
• Experience with accounting treatments required.
• Experience with tax planning for joint ventures preferred.
