Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements within the procurement function
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts
  • Identify and address discrepancies or variances in inventory levels
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
  • Negotiate and manage complex contracts
  • Address supplier concerns and resolve disputes effectively
  • Streamline the procurement process to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and manage the procurement budget
  • Analyze pricing trends, market conditions, and supplier performance
  • Implement cost control measures and track cost savings
  • Sales order management and fulfillment management.
  • Mitigate procurement-related risks and maintain documentation for audits
  • Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations
  • Any support duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Several years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record in leadership roles
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain vendor relationships
  • Knowledge of procurement software and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Proficiency with Google workspace and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to deadlines
