Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements within the procurement function
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts
- Identify and address discrepancies or variances in inventory levels
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
- Negotiate and manage complex contracts
- Address supplier concerns and resolve disputes effectively
- Streamline the procurement process to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and manage the procurement budget
- Analyze pricing trends, market conditions, and supplier performance
- Implement cost control measures and track cost savings
- Sales order management and fulfillment management.
- Mitigate procurement-related risks and maintain documentation for audits
- Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations
- Any support duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Several years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record in leadership roles
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain vendor relationships
- Knowledge of procurement software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
- Proficiency with Google workspace and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to deadlines
