Corporate Planning Analyst - New York, NY

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain financial data (mainly expenses) in system, and compile periodical/ad-hoc reports.
• Conduct budget to actual variance analysis and provide support for forecasting and budgeting.
• Assist development of expense management framework, and implementation of financial strategies.
• Provide the division with various supports, including but not limited to consolidation and allocation of financials, data collection and reconciliation.
• Build relationships with other divisions/departments in the US and the Americas and act as a liaison between the US office and Tokyo head office.
• Collaborate with them closely for various discussions, and assist team to achieve agreement/solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, economics, business administration or in a related field, or equivalent working experience is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in finance or similar area is required.
• Excellent analytical skills and knowledge with precise data management skills are required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excel (Pivot Table and VLOOKUP) are required.
• Must be fluent both in English and Japanese (speaking, listening, reading and writing)
