Electrical/Service Engineer - Indianapolis, IN

Responsibilities

• Designs and installs/implements electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and
• systems as a subject expert within the industrial Automation industry
• Responsible for leading a project from start to finish, design and programming of custom
• automation control systems
• Programming and PLC support for diverse customers
• Document all work done in a legible and technically sound manner
• Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with the customers
• Provide technical support and assistance to sales personnel
• 70% Office, 30% customer visitation.
• Overnight travel – once every two months (*the frequency is changeable as it depends on customer orders

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent or relative technical experience
• Demonstrated technical knowledge of electrical/control systems and ability to apply these concepts
• within a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to speak, read and write Japanese
