Production Control Supervisor - Rome, GA

Responsibilities

• Oversees the flow of parts within or between departments of manufacturing to expedite production.
• Supervise material receiving activities and production scheduling activities.
• Reviews inventory, material requirements, and future production schedules to determine if on-hand materials are sufficient to complete production on schedule.
• Plan material demand and place purchase orders to meet production schedules.
• Communicate with vendors to expedite urgently needed materials, claim non-conformance materials, negotiate pricing, etc.
• Report inventory records, production schedules, and other related information to the management.
• Acts as a liaison between the production control and the manufacturing floor. May assist with determining appropriate production schedules

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two to four years of related experience
• Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft office (Excel, Outlook)
