- Responsible for obtaining and maintaining business license such as ABC, Health permit, City license, Sellers Permit, Fictitious name etc.
- Responsible for handling General Liability matters
- Responsible for handling customer inquiries
- Arranges company events and meetings
- Answers, directs telephone calls and takes or transfers messages as necessary
- Routes incoming and outgoing mail to internal and outside staff.
- Composes routine correspondence and creates reports or presentations.
- Maintains office and equipment lease contracts, health and business liability insurance, etc.
- Arranges travel, transportation and hotel reservations for personnel and corporate guests when necessary
- Orders and maintains office and shipping supplies
- Interprets, translates and re-communicates both verbal and written messages from Japanese into English or vice versa
- Experience with business license, food or restaurant permit/license preferred
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent in Business or in a related area from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- One to three years of previous experience in a similar position
- Japanese language skill (Speak, Read and Write)
- Detail-oriented, team player
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/ Excel
