Supply Chain Specialist

Job Description

Major Japanese Food Corporation is looking for for a Supply Chain Specialist. This position will be responsible for processing and managing orders, appointing logistical operations to various domestic customer destinations via 3PL partners, and tracing product inventory from international suppliers to local distribution centers.

Duties

  • Data entry of inbound shipping documents
  • Communicate with counter-parties
  • Support Supply/Demand process
  • Process Purchase Orders
  • Work with sales team and makes necessary arrangements
  • Prepare necessary documentation for 3PL warehouse and carriers
  • Organize tracking information and follows up with each delivery
  • Issue Sales Invoices
  • Coordinate with freight companies and handles any claims

Qualifications

  • Associate degree (A.A.) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of Supply Chain Management or Logistics experience
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
  • Must have good written and oral communication skills
  • ERP experience/knowledge is preferred
