Semiconductor Sales Engineer for Japanese Manufacturing Company

Our client, a Japanese manufacturing company, is searching for Sales Engineers in the Semiconductor Related Materials department (SRM). The ideal candidate has a Marketing degree with at least 5 years of sales and marketing experience selling to original design manufactures (ODM) and can speak Japanese at a beginner to business level.

Job Title: Sales Engineer

Industry: Manufacturing (Client will be in Semiconductor industry)

Location: Fremont, CA

Salary: 85k DOE, +Bonus and Car allowance

Type: Full Time, Direct Hire

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university (Marketing degree is preferred)
• 5+ years of sales experience in a related field. (Selling to ODM’s, selling to semiconductor companies, etc.)
• Experience in back and front-end wafer manufacturing preferred and international business experience is a plus
• Japanese language or experience working for Japanese company a huge plus

Job Duties:

• Communicates regularly with existing accounts, provides sales and technical support, coordinates customer issues and presents solutions
• In charge of identifying new business opportunities in related industries
• Introducing new products/technologies to existing customers and makes effort to expand the use of the new products
• Creates presentations to showcase new and current products/services
• Awareness of competitor activities as well as staying up to date on industry trends
