Operations Supervisor

Job Description

We are currently seeking an Operations Supervisor for a Japanese Freight Forwarder to join their team in the Memphis, TN area! You will be assisting department manager by taking charge of an operating shift and performing responsibilities of the manager on that shift.

Industry: Japanese Freight Forwarder

Location: Memphis, TN

Languages: English and Japanese is a plus

Pay: 45-55K (Depending on your experience)

Status: Full time + Excellent benefits

Duties

• Develops among assigned personnel a consciousness for the need for team work to attain department objectives.
• Reviews daily production schedule for the department to plan work and personnel assignments for the shift.
• Supervises and directs personnel on shift in performing operations according to sound operating principles and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• In-company job experience as an above-average operator or line mechanic.
• Junior college training in mechanical technology or equivalent manufacturing industry experience.
