Mechanical/Sales Engineer (Entry to Managerial Level Welcome)

Position: Mechanical/Sales Engineer

Industry: Automotive

Location: Novi, MI

Languages: English and Japanese are MUST

Pay: $50k - $100k (Depending on your experience)

Status: Full time + benefits

Duties

• Attend technical meetings with existing OEM customers either face to face or telephone conference.
• Visit OEM plants when they claim quality problem, and resolve the issue working with our manufacturing plant & local warehouse.
• Assist obtaining new business from the existing OEM customers
• Assist obtaining new business from NEW OEM and/or Tier 1 suppliers.
• Collect technical trend from OEM and/or engineering companies.
• Assisting production engineer at Mexico facility.
  

Qualifications

• Must have experience in automotive industry.
• Must have strong Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills plus the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Must posses a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to go on business trips to Canada, Mexico, US territories.
