Job Description

Provide user support and internal customer service on company-supported computer applications to enable effective and efficient operations of the Company. Maintain master files and users’ computer access securities in accordance with the policies and procedures. Set up and maintain Company’s PCs, printers, servers, networks, scanners and related equipment including cell phones and tablets.

Languages: Japanese Language is a huge plus but not required

Pay: $19-26/hr (DOE)

Status: Full time + Excellent benefits

Duties

  • Enter and review master file data into company’s ERP systems
  • Provide timely response to work requests made by internal customers/employees, and file related documents
  • Provide helpdesk support or redirect to correct resources to resolve problems on company’s ERP system to the end user’s satisfaction, while logging in all help deskinteractions
  • Investigate, diagnose and solve computer software and hardwareissues
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks,printers andscanners
  • Perform computer hardware and software upgrades asrequired
  • Set up accounts for staff, ensuring that they know how to login
  • Document internalprocedures
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and softwarelicenses
  • Assist the supervisor for internal and externalaudits
  • Other duties asassigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, or IT related field,preferred
  • Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software,hardware and other equipment,required
  • Effective oral and written communication skillsrequired
  • Must be an adaptable team player with customer serviceorientation
  • Must be an analytical problem solver with attention todetail
  • Ability to communicate inJapanese is a huge plus
