A pharmaceutical company is looking for Japanese/English bilingual Scientific Affairs Specialist with medical devise or clinical research environment experience.

This position is responsible for conducting in-depth literature reviews on clinical research studies related to our products, assisting Sr. Director of Scientific Affairs, and establishing clinical research strategy and tactics by business area and by product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish clinical research strategy and tactics by business area and by product.
  • Designs, plans and implements the overall direction of clinical research projects.
  • Recruit and qualify clinical investigate sites.
  • Analyze data acquired during the course of the clinical investigation, prepare reports and presentations based on clinical findings.
  • Meet expected goals and objectives through own activities and available resources with minimum of supervision.
  • Conduct in-depth literature reviews on clinical research studies related to our products.
  • Stay current on our products
  • Provide support to Sales team by attending conferences and seminars and identifying customer needs, opportunities, and potential barriers .
  • Develop and grow mutually beneficial customer relationships with customers.
  • Assist Sr. Director of Scientific Affairs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a medical device or clinical research environment preferred.
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or related field required.
  • Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • The ability to travel related to this role is required. Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally, sometimes on short notice.

  • Strong organization and documentation skills
  • Good communication skills, oral and written
