Position: Mechanical Engineer

Industry: Electronics / Semiconductor / Manufacturing

Location: SanJose, CA

Languages: Japanese and English a MUST

Pay: $85k - $95k (Depending on your experience)

Status: Full time + Excellent benefits

Duties

• Work with the customer’s design division to get the company’s products designed in.
• Document these design activities
• Provide the customer with general product information and design tools such as data sheets, samples, demo boards, application notes, and product seminars
• Assist the FSE and Key Account Manager in developing account profiles of the customer and Target Account Selling Sales Plans
• Manage multiple projects and follow up on various tasks to ensure timely support and execution
• Handle technical telephone, email and internet inquires for his or her key customers
• Ensure clear and regular internal reporting and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred
• Japanese and English language proficiency at the business level is a MUST
• BA or BS degree from four year college or university with business concentration
• Preferably at least 1 year Field supports Engineer / Application Engineer / Product Marketing experience in the electronics/semiconductor or related field.
• Preferably related work experience at key customer or customers with similar focus and highly demanding engineering culture.
• Ability to understand and implement verbal and written instructions.
