Japanese Bilingual Mechanical Design Engineer (Mid: Jr. level)

We are currently looking to fill a Mechanical Design Engineer for Japanese corporation located in Santa Clara, CA. (Mid- level: 2-5 years) . Japanese language skill & Work experience from CAD design is MUST.

Location: Santa Clara, CA (San Francisco Bay Area)

· Salary: $80-130k(DOE)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Develop system architecture based on business and road-map goals

· Work with ID, EE, and Software teams to define system requirements and functionality

· Conceptualize, design, and execute on clever mechanical systems and components

· Design and construct prototypes throughout the design process to validate concepts

· Perform detailed CAD design, FEA, generate manufacturing documentation, and manage manufacturing of components throughout the project

· Manage the assembly and testing of mechanical systems

· Perform failure analysis

· Design with a constant focus on aesthetics and function as well as cost and manufacturability

REQUIREMENT:

· 2-5 years of mechanical design engineering experience

· BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent MUST

· Japanese language skill is MUST

· Fluent in any major CAD system, NX Preferred

· Expert in design for all stages of product lifecycle, from initial prototypes to mass production

· Extensive hands-on exposure to electro-mechanical systems, actuators, and sensors

· A proven track record of designing elegant mechanical mechanisms and systems

· Experience in driving vendors do deliver quality components on time

· Demonstrated ability in component fabrication, machining, assembly, prototyping
