Japanese Bilingual Customer Service Rep

Job Description

We are currently seeking a customer service oriented Japanese and English Bilingual candidate for a well established retail company. The group works with an e-commerce platform for various Japanese related products: Books, Manga, Anime, Media, and gifts. The ideal candidate will have customer support experience and great communication skills.

Position: Customer Service Representative

Industry: Retail

Location: Torrance, CA

Languages: Japanese and English a MUST

Pay: $40k - $55k (Depending on your experience)

Status: Full time + Excellent benefits

Duties

  • Customer support: Respond to questions and inquiries from customers over the phone, email and web communication sites.
  • Coordinate merchandise modifications: cancellations, exchanges, and returns for vouchers or credit.
  • Handles complaints and escalations by explaining store policies with an appropriate solution.
  • Place order and process subscriptions through phone, email and online channels.
  • Process invoices and coordinate with logistics teams and various stores.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred
  • Japanese and English language proficiency at the business level is a MUST
  • Exceptional communication and networking skills is highly desired
