Japanese Bilingual Application Engineer -Mechanical

Job Description

We are currently seeking a diligent Application Engineer for an established Japanese Electronics Manufacturing company to join their team in the Seattle / Bellevue WA area!

Position: Application Engineer

Industry: Electronics / R&D / Manufacturing

Location: Seattle / Bellevue, WA / Greater Seattle Area

Languages: Japanese and English a MUST

Pay: $70k - $90k (Depending on your experience)

Status: Full time + Excellent benefits

Duties

• Develop a close working relationship with the Field Sales Engineers, Sales Reps, Marketing, and business line colleagues
• Work with the customer’s design division to get the company’s products designed in document these design activities
• Provide the customer with general product information and design tools such as data sheets, samples, demo boards, application notes, and product seminars
• Assist the FSE and Key Account Manager in developing account profiles of the customer and Target Account Selling Sales Plans
  

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineer preferred
• Bilingual in English and Japanese
• Ability to understand schematics and technical drawings
• Possess good problem-solving skills
• Good team player, able to work successfully within all levels of an organization
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Proficient PC skills
