Japanese Bilingual Application Engineer – Chemical

We are currently seeking a candidate for our clients Chemical Engineering – Application Engineer position. The ideal candidate will have both bilingual skills in Japanese and English. Entry level welcome. Training will be provided

• Title : Chemical Engineer - Application Engineer
• Location : San Jose, CA / San Francisco / SF bayarea
• Salary : $70-80k DOE
• Type : Full Time, Direct Hire

Qualifications:

• Ability to recommend mechanical changes to CAD models in order to optimize and improve design
• 3D CAD software operation skill (Solidworks)
• Customer facing experience in a selling environment
• Fluency in Japanese and English

Job Duties:

• Meet with customers in order to understand their Chemical needs, requirements, and concerns
• Present customer the company products, test reports, and simulations.
• Create test method/plans and product specifications that address the customer needs and requirements
• Working with the company’s Engineering team for optimization of designs, new product designs, and customer applications
• Support company research, development, and marketing efforts
