Human Resource Assistant Function
- Payroll processing using PayChex TLO
- Assist H.R. manager on employee relation issues and complaint process
- Conduct new hire orientation including temporary workers
- Update HR database
- Group insurance benefit administration including COBRA (Group Medical/Dental/Vision/Life /Voluntary Life and other business insurance record such as vehicles, auto insurance of private vehicles )
- File and data management (payroll report, personnel, medical, training files, etc.)
- Assisting training program management including filings and document control Maintain employee’s training record
- Assist recruitment of new temporary workers through various sources requested by Managers
- Monitor temporary worker’s work hours and check the invoice from the temporary employment agency
- Update temporary worker’s data worksheet and prepare monthly temp. labor cost for managers
- Other H.R. assignments/projects requested by Managers
General Administration Function
- Coordination and organization of various corporate events and activities (management dinner and Holiday party, monthly management meetings, board of directors’ meetings, Quarterly luncheon etc.)
- Updates Public Calendar by collecting the information from Managers
- Interviews supervisors/employees to obtain facts about work practice or accident and file a claim with insurance agents
- Directs activities of workers involved in industrial safety programs
- Liaison between remote office landlords and management and corresponds an appropriate action directed by the management
- Translation from/to English-Spanish or English-Japanese
- Meeting/Travel arrangements for upper management
- Create and update organization chart
- Assists other general administrative jobs requested by Managers
Requirements
- English-Japanese Bilingual or English-Spanish Bilingual is a MUST
- Bachelor's degree in related filed
- 3-5 years of related HR or Administrative work experience is a MUST
