Job Description

We are currently seeking an Assistant Production Manager at a major Japanese food manufacturing company.

Position: Assistant Production Manager

Industry: Food/Manufacturing

Location: Chino, CA / Inland Empire Area

Languages: Japanese and English

Pay: 45-65K (Depending on your experience)

Status: Full time + great benefits

Work Hours: 6:30AM to 3:00PM + Overtime and some Saturdays

Duties

• Safety of the employees and products
• Daily production and shipping scheduling
• Production Record Keeping for daily production
• Loss and cost control
• Conduct purchasing activities
• Inventory control
• Machinery and the equipment maintenance
• Training team members for knowledge and skill growth
• Solve problems and issues by working with upper management and supervisors

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Food Science, Engineering or similar/related background
• At least 2-3 years of food production experience
• At least 1-2 years of lead or supervisory experience
• Knowledge about Food Safety and sanitation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Eager to work, independent, work as a team, interested in learning.
• Multi-Tasking skills
