Administrative Assistant (HR/General Affairs Department)
Job Description
Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the HR and General Affairs Department and supports the work of management and other employees perming a variety of clerical and administrative tasks
Position: Administrative Assistant
Industry: Food / Manufacturing
Location: Los Angeles, Los Angeles County Area
Languages: English and Japanese Bilingual (no need to be able to read/write)
Pay: $20 - $24/hr (Depending on your experience)
Status: Full time + Excellent benefits
Duties
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office
- Process POs and invoices
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Manage timecard
- Process Union Insurance payments
- Assist HR & General Affairs management with various projects
- Sort incoming mail, faxes, and courier deliveries for distribution
- Prepare and send outgoing faxes, mail and courier parcels
- Manage and keep appointments calendar update
- Coordinate and schedule travel, meetings, and appointments for staff members
- Prepare for meetings and documents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred
- Knowledge of office administration procedures
- Japanese and English language proficiency
- Proficient in MS Office
- Managing time with frequent interruptions
- Ability to work independently as well as others
