Administrative Assistant (HR/General Affairs Department)

Job Description

Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the HR and General Affairs Department and supports the work of management and other employees perming a variety of clerical and administrative tasks

Position: Administrative Assistant

Industry: Food / Manufacturing

Location: Los Angeles, Los Angeles County Area

Languages: English and Japanese Bilingual (no need to be able to read/write)

Pay: $20 - $24/hr (Depending on your experience)

Status: Full time + Excellent benefits


  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office
  • Process POs and invoices
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Manage timecard
  • Process Union Insurance payments
  • Assist HR & General Affairs management with various projects
  • Sort incoming mail, faxes, and courier deliveries for distribution
  • Prepare and send outgoing faxes, mail and courier parcels
  • Manage and keep appointments calendar update
  • Coordinate and schedule travel, meetings, and appointments for staff members
  • Prepare for meetings and documents


  • Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of office administration procedures
  • Japanese and English language proficiency
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Managing time with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to work independently as well as others
