Account Executive in the Automotive industry

Job Description

Currently our client (Japanese automotive-related company) is seeking candidates for a Japanese bilingual account executive.

Position: Account Executive

Industry: Automotive

Location: Novi, MI

Languages: Japanese and English a MUST

Pay: up to 60K

Status: Full time + benefit package

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Between 2 and 3 years of previous experience in a similar position.
• Driver’s License
• Fluent in English and Japanese required.

Responsibilities:

• Plan product orders to the vendors and affiliated companies; ensures orders are accurate, correct, and received according to planned schedule.
• Communicates with existing customers by phone, e-mail,facsimile and teleconference tool.
• Answers product inquiries and requests from customers.
• Adjusts complaints concerning billing or products, referring complaints to designated departments for investigation.
• Travels throughout assigned territory to discuss their production schedule, answer questions.
• Quote prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Works with Inside Sales Rep to keep account activities up to date.
