Position: Japanese Bilingual Tax Accountant

Responsibilities
- Prepares and files monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual sales/use tax returns
- Prepares and files monthly, quarterly, and annual business tax returns
- Prepares and files annual business personal property tax returns and processes payments
- Reviews assigned sales tax codes for new products
- Prepares corporate estimated income tax payment orders
- Assists in responding to tax notices and/ or information requests from tax authorities
- Assists in responding to branch inquiries regarding customers’ invoices
- Assists in managing customers’ resale certificates
- Assists in managing sales tax software monthly updates
- Any support duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in general accounting (including Bookkeeping, AP, AR) or tax
- 2 Year / Associate Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field
- Japanese language (Speak, Read and Write)
- General accounting knowledge preferred
- Ability to learn ERP systems such as Oracle
- Intermediate knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
