Our client, a Japanese Import/Export Freight Forwarder, is looking for a qualified Operation Manager to run the Export Department (Air & Ocean). The ideal candidate would have 10+ years or industry experience and is fully bilingual in Japanese and English.

QUALIFICATIONS:
– Minimum High School diploma or significant/relevant working experience. College degree preferred
– Approximately 10 years of industry experience
– General Export computer application (experience with AS400 system is preferred)
– Proficient with spreadsheets and analytics in logistics or transportation company
-Japanese language skill (read/write/speak)
JOB DUTIES:
– Directing all export operations and supervising/leading the Export team
– Researching/analysis on all relevant Export laws and practices, and incorporating into the departments strategy
– Communication with customers, vendors, and internal export authorities
– Sales call with existing and potential customers to increase revenue
– Manage and coordinate with warehouse and sales teams, and report all analysis to management
