We are currently seeking a candidate for our client, a Japanese Trading Company for their Agriculture Division. The position is a Logistics and Administration Specialist role. The ideal candidate would have trading and logistics operations experience and bilingual in Japanese.

Qualifications:

– Undergraduate degree with at least 2 years of trading and logistics operations experience
– Japanese language skill is a plus
– Must have experience with import/export documentation
– Ability to work independently, multitask, prioritize, and strong organizational skills
– Previous experience with SAP systems

Job Duties:

– Support sales and marketing for the agriculture division
– Obtain quotes from freight forwarders and coordinate logistics, arrange required documents, monitor shipment and relay messages to related parties
– Arrange sales contracts, invoice, payments, and other documents
– Responsible for basic accounting functions including A/R and A/P, and data entry into SAP.
– General administrative tasks
