Our client, a medical device manufacturer located in East Bay, is currently searching for a Latin America Regional Sales Manager to manage their sales strategy and execution in the LATAM region.

Position: Regional Sales Manager
Industry: Medical Device (Neurological / surgical devices)
Location: Fremont, CA area
Salary: $80,000-$100,000 DOE base + bonus
Status: Full-time, Direct Hire
Travel: 50%+
Territory: Mexico, Central America, South America

Requirements:
– 3+ years of experience in medical device sales within the Latin American region
– 1+ year of experience in a sales management role is highly desired
– Bachelor’s degree in a business or science-related field preferred
– Near-native level Spanish language skills, along with business level English proficiency are a must. Portuguese and Japanese language proficiency are both pluses
– Great communication skills, being able to explain to technical and non-technical audiences

Duties:
– Analyze opportunities in the medical device industry within the Latin American region and submit sales quotas based on product lines
– Develop and execute business strategies with management in order to achieve and expand on quarterly sales quotas and aiming for consistent growth
– Evaluate track records from distributors and provide recommendations and support on product knowledge and sales procedures to assist in achieving sales objectives
– Conduct competitor analysis and evaluate product positioning and pricing, making suggestions on changes as necessary
– Train distributors on products, providing technical explanations and going over product specifications
– Build relationships with influential players in the medical device industry, including both industry and related personnel such as surgeons, while designing inventive programs based on their feedback
– Create and document current and potential customer database, including working with hospitals and other medical and/or surgical centers based on sales volume and product line penetration
– Collaborate with product marketing teams to market product information to distributors and customers
– Attend trade shows, conferences, and labs for networking, competitor analysis, and increasing product knowledge
