Our client, a Japanese logistics company in Chicago is looking for a Sales Manager:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Work with the Executive team to develop and implement an effective strategic sales plan to support and maximize current and long term goals and gross profits
-Actively identify, recruit, hire, and onboard top sales talent throughout the region
-Develop and maintain key accounts to generate individual business and contribute to the overall revenue of the region. 
-Provide leadership and coaching for the day to day sales activities of branch team members, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.
-Seek out and target new customers and sales opportunities, initiate action plans to approach and secure new business for the company
-Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential, keeping current with financial data and market trends
-Establish performance goals for all sales team employees, and monitor performance on a continual basis to achieve company objectives
-Develop and maintain a strong work relationship with key opinion leaders and other relevant agents
 

REQUIREMENTS:

-At least 2 years of recent Logistics Sales and Business Development experience
-Able to travel extensively
-Ability to develop key accounts to generate own book of business
-Excellent communication skills with an ability to network and foster relationships
-Strong negotiation skills, attention to detail and accuracy
-Natural leader, highly motivated to succeed
-Strong organizational skills
-Ability to remain persistent and positive
