Currently our client (Major Chemical Manufacturer) is seeking candidates for a Chemical Sales Account Manager.

Must be willing to commute to New York City.
Maintain relationships with existing customers as well as communicate with R&D and purchasing.
Travel as needed, approximately 55% within the assigned sales territory
Experience with HPC a plus.

Education and Experience

All applicants must have a Bachelors (B.A.) degree in a chemical field or equivalent; and a minimum of one to three years in sales.

Competencies

English speaking sales representative with good customer service skills.
Have the ability to concentrate, analyze, and demonstrate knowledge of market and competition. Identify external threats and opportunities. Adapt strategy to changing conditions.
Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to be persuasive, speak clearly in both positive and negative situations and respond well to questions. Effectively present information one-on-one or in groups to customers, clients or other employees of the organization.
Detail oriented with knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Travel is often required
